James Mallon

I had a 40% of my L4-5 disc removed in September of 2007 - my golfing buddies can attest that I wasn't fully recovered until this spring (18 months later).

As many of you know, its not the disc healing that takes the time, while it still requires time to heal, its the surrounding nerves and structures that were damaged as a result of the disc rupture that takes the lionshare of the recovery time.

When I left the surgeons office, he noted that he would see me again in 5 to 10 years for a fusion or, if it got approved, a disc replacement. This is that approval.

I'll let you know how it turns out in 2015!!
